We love kids and want them to get to know and love Jesus!
We want our smallest children to have a positive experience at church - by feeling safe, welcomed and loved. As our kids grow, we want to give them an accurate knowledge of God and His Word - while offering learning that is active, fun and experiential. We take the responsibility of caring for your children very seriously. Each child's safety is important to us - physically, emotionally and spiritually. All lead teachers have had a background check to ensure your children are in good hands.
What to expect when you arrive
Stop in at our Faith Kids check-in station - it's right by the main door. We will welcome you, and give your children a wristband as they check in for the morning before each gathering.
Families of infants, toddlers and preschoolers receive a matching wristband which you will show as you take your children to class and pick them up following service. Our classes for our littlest attendees begin at 10:15. Please pick your littles up immediately following the worship gathering.
After Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders receive their bands - they join the first part of worship with you - then will be dismissed to go with their teachers about 20 minutes into the morning. Teachers will wear matching wristbands and will be holding a sign letting children know which group they join. K/1, 2/3 and 4/5 classes are led by awesome teachers - include great stories and activities and are designed to teach kids more about God. The scope and sequence for our lessons can be found here.
Your children K-5th grade will return to you following their class - just as the worship gathering is wrapping up. At that time, you may pick up your infants, toddlers & preschoolers.
All of our classroom leaders have undergone a background check via Oregon State Police and have agreed to our ministry values.
We welcome additions to our ministry team. Signing up is easy. Once you sign up - you will receive the information and, if needed, curriculum you need. We ask for a one time serve per month commitment. Some serve more and some are good with one. Either way, our two gatherings on Sundays allow you to attend worship and serve all in the same Sunday. You won't miss a thing by serving - you'll gain some time with some awesome kids! Check out our openings here.
