JOIN US SUNDAY AT 10:15 - As we study Jesus' revolutionary teaching in the Gospel of Luke, we'll discover the unexpected, counter-cultural nature of His "Upside-Down Kingdom" and be challenged to live out the ways of Jesus in our spheres of influence.

ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING ON JANUARY 28TH - After the morning worship gathering on January 28th, official members are encouraged to attend this meeting that will include elder elections and voting in regard to proposed bylaw changes (see the email we sent you on January 17^th). If you have questions about proposed bylaw changes, feel free to contact the elders - elders@faithchurchdallas.org 

UPCOMING CHANGES TO THE ELDER TEAM - During our upcoming Annual Meeting, official members of Faith Church will vote to elect Elders to our leadership team. In preparation for that, we want to update you about the potential changes to the team. Marty Friesen and Grant Boustead are concluding their season on the Elder team, having served the maximum of two consecutive 3-year terms. Please join us in thanking them for their ministry among us! The Elder Team is thrilled to announce and highly recommend that the following three men be elected to serve as Elders - - Trevor Russell (reelection to 2nd term), Mikeal Davis (after one year away from the team), and Scott Russell (1st term).

MISSIONARY THANK YOU NOTES - Our missionaries were greatly blessed through your generosity. Please read their individual notes below:

• Eric and Judith Hedeen - Greetings from Papua New Guinea. Judith and I would like to express our thanks for your very generous Christmas gift. We are very thankful for our relationship with you all and look forward to seeing you on our home assignment which starts this summer. Blessings to the church there in 2024.
• Gail Posenjak-Thank you so much for the monthly support, faithful prayers, and additional support that you have given to me and the ministry in Papua New Guinea.  Your Christmas gift was very generous and thoughtful.  I appreciate the time you spend thinking and praying for the church planting teams as well as the support ministries that are needed to see the people of PNG come to faith in our Lord and Savior. Your partnership in ministry means so much to me. 
• Dave and Mel Proctor -Thanks so much for the year end gift.  We are so thankful for all of you at Faith Church that have faithfully prayed and given to make our work possible.  We serve on the other end of the ocean, but we serve the same Lord and I'm sure one day in heaven there will be many from across the world who will express their thanks directly to you. 
• Ben and Jeanne -Blessed New Year to you all! We express our gratitude to your missions committee and church body for this very generous gift from Faith, our faithful supporters for all these decades! 
• Darren and Gina- Gina and I are so encouraged with the generous support of Faith Free. This year-end gift is particularly encouraging to us as it comes in the Lord’s timing. Thank you! We are both praising God for His provision through Faith Church. Gina and I are also encouraged with the healthy growth of our first responder work in the Greater Portland and Seattle areas (among several other places around the country.) 

NEW FRIENDS LUNCH RESCHEDULE – **Please note we have changed the date. Following our worship gathering on March 3rd, we will be having a New Friends Lunch for those who are newer to Faith church within the last 6-12 months! We want to get to know you, and for you to get to know us! TEACHER APPRECIATION PRIZES - An Appreciation Lunch for all Dallas area school teachers and staff (hosted by the Dallas Ministerial Association) will include giveaway prizes. If you would like to help bless teachers/staff in this way, please drop off gift cards (between $10-50) in the church office by February 4th. Thanks!

IF:GATHERING 2024 - SAVE THE DATE!! IF:Gathering is a time for women to come together, worship and seek God. The live gathering takes place in late February, but we plan to host and recast sessions on Friday, March15^th and 16th. Details and the registration link will be available soon. Help us spread the word by inviting ladies you care about and plan to spend this day and a half together!
