Faith Congregational Care Ministry

We are initiating a fresh start to the Faith Congregational Care Ministry! We want to specifically  care for widows, shut-ins, those whose physical limitations prevent them from attending worship gatherings, and anyone feeling isolated by trying life circumstances.

If you want to be included when we reach out, here is what to expect: pastors and volunteers will communicate by calling or emailing you to say hello, see how you are doing, and whether you have any prayer requests.  These calls will only be made to those we have identified in the categories mentioned above, or have expressed interest to us. Prayer requests will only be shared with staff and elders, unless permission is given to share with our prayer team.

If you are new to Faith Church or have never given us contact information, please notify the church office if you want to receive care calls from a member of our care team. info@faithchurchdallas.org or (503) 623 8034.

If you do not fit any of the categories above, but feel isolated and want a care call, please email, or call the church office as well. We know reaching out when you feel isolated can be so hard, but it’s a helpful step towards connection. Think about this wonderful quote from Mr. Rogers: “All of us, at some time or another, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors." We pray courage over those of you who need help but find it difficult to ask.

If you have a heart for connecting with people and are feeling the nudge from Holy Spirit, please reach out to Pastor Ed to be a part of our care team! We know many of you have already been reaching out to those in need, and that is so appreciated. This ministry is in no way trying to take away from that - we want to add to the love our church family is already doing such a good job of spreading!
