Weekly Update!

On Sunday October 12th, Pastor Derek gave a financial update for Faith Church. To watch the update, follow this link to YouTube. As always, we are trusting God with his provision through the faithful generosity of the people of Faith Church!

JOIN US SUNDAY AT 10:15AM — As our teaching series “THE KING REVEALED” continues, we’re following Jesus through the final days of His earthly ministry—from His arrival in Jerusalem to His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. Along the way, we’ll see the true nature of His kingship revealed. Come be encouraged and challenged to follow the King who gave His life and now reigns in glory.

PRAY FOR PASTOR DEREK’S RECOVERY: Pastor Derek underwent open-heart mitral valve repair surgery on 10/23 and will require several weeks of recovery. While he is away, ministry at Faith Church will continue at full strength, as God faithfully leads and the church lives out “one body with many parts” (1 Cor 12:12)—every believer worshiping, serving, giving, and caring for one another. Pastor Derek and family appreciate your prayers!

STAY HOME & "LIVE SENT" - We’re inviting the Faith Church family to “Live Sent” (John 17:14-18) right from your own driveways on October 31st. Since it's one of the few nights a year when your neighbors come to your door, why not create a warm, welcoming space—hand out generous treats, offer hot cider, set up a fire pit, or simply take time to meet new people. Let’s turn our homes into outposts of Jesus’ love and see what God might do!

Ideas to Live Sent:

  • Be generous: Hand out king-sized candy, small toys, or allergy-friendly treats.
  • Be welcoming: Learn names and start conversations.
  • Create community: Add chairs, a fire pit, or games to invite people to stay.
  • Add fun: Play music, project a movie, or use lights to create warmth.
  • Team up: Partner with another family for more impact.
  • Pray: Before, during, and after – ask God to shine through you.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE – Help Us Bless Local Families! The Dallas Food Bank plans to provide 200 families with a complete Thanksgiving meal—including a turkey! Faith Church is joining the effort by collecting 50 cans of cranberry sauce by Saturday, November 9th. Together, we can help our neighbors enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal and share the love of Christ in a practical way!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - Shoebox Packing Party Thursday Nov. 6th at 4:30 PM in the Community Center. All are invited to help fill shoeboxes that Samaritan's Purse will distribute to children all over the world. These precious presents open the door to telling them about Jesus, God's greatest gift! Did you know that over 1,000 churches are planted annually from giving these gifts? In addition, you are welcome to check out a box, fill it and return it. Directions are included with the box. Or donate money to buy items and help pay shipping costs. See Polly Foster in the foyer after church.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PLAYGROUP – Starting November 12th and continuing every Wednesday from 9-11AM, we will open our church to families with small children to have a dry, cozy, safe indoor play area while adults enjoy a handcrafted drink from our baristas. Drop in or stay for the whole time!

LOST & FOUND CLEANOUT - Lose something? Items can sometimes be found on the Lost & Found shelf (above the coat rack near the restrooms) or by contacting the church office. Come get your belongings before we give them away!

RIGHTNOW MEDIA-Last November we had the pleasure of announcing and launching the online service of RightNow Media! You may have received an email from RightNow Media to set up your account and begin having full access to their complete video library. If you did not receive an email, or would like help getting your account set up, make sure to contact us and we will get you added!

WORSHIP THROUGH GENEROSITY— God provides for the ministry of Faith Church through your cheerful, willing, and generous giving. Thank you! You can submit your offering through our Church Center App or in the giving boxes on the back wall. All donations are tax deductible.
