THIS SUNDAY AT 10:15AM - We're glad you're with us as we continue our series in God’s Word, “James: A Transforming Faith”. This letter was written by James, the brother of Jesus, to encourage and challenge the believer toward a transforming faith. This Sunday, we will be in James chapter 5. 

PICNIC AND BAPTISM NEXT SUNDAY, AUGUST 21ST - Our annual picnic and baptism in the park is next Sunday, the 21st! Everyone is invited to join us at the Dallas City Park directly following the Worship Gathering on August 21st. We will provide a picnic and a fun dessert for you! Please bring your family and friends to join in the feast with us! Then, we will have a blast baptizing followers of Jesus in the Rickreall Creek.

• BAPTISM INFO MEETING THIS SUNDAY: If you would like to be baptized and feel the Spirit’s prompting, we would love to have a conversation with you! Meet with a staff member or pastor anytime, or email us at info@faithchurchdallas.org. MISSION UPDATE: Gail Posenjack will be in the US this summer and joining us this Sunday, August 14th! There will be an opportunity to connect with her from 9 AM-9:45 AM in the Community Center. Gail is one of our missionaries and serves in Papua New Guinea with Ethnos 360. You are invited to come and receive a brief overview of the work God is doing through her overseas and ask questions. This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with her so that we can better carry her in our thoughts and prayers.

PASTOR ED IS RETIRING! - Mark your calendars and join us to celebrate Ed, and his lovely wife Connie's, 38(!) years of love and service to Faith Church on September 25th in the Community Center directly following the worship gathering. We are so excited for Ed and Connie as they adventure into a new chapter of their lives!

PASTOR DEREK'S SABBATICAL ENDS SOON - Pastor Derek will be joining us in our worship gathering again on August 21st! We look forward to hearing from him and his time away on sabbatical on August 28th. Please continue praying for him these last few days as he engages in God's Word and enjoys family time and rest. This is a grace-gift for Derek and his family from our whole church family, as we believe in caring well for those who lead and serve us.
