Weekly Update! 1/30
JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT 10:15 AM for "What We Believe," a new series exploring our Statement of Faith. Each week, we’ll hear what the Bible teaches about these core beliefs that unite us and how they impact our faith, purpose, and daily lives. This series will help us understand what we believe, why it matters, and how it guides us to follow Jesus.
NEW FRIENDS LUNCH - Right after our worship gathering on Sunday, we will be having a New Friends' Lunch for those who are newer to Faith Church within the last several months! This is a time to get to know some of the leadership at Faith Church and for us to get to know you! If possible, please register ahead of time so we can have enough food for you and childcare if needed. Thanks so much and we're looking forward to meeting you!
Our 2025 Challenge - New Year. New Seat. New Connections. We’re inviting the whole church family to join in a fun, lighthearted challenge designed to help us get a "fresh perspective" and build new connections. From now through Easter, every time you gather for worship, consider sitting somewhere new and connecting with someone you don’t usually get to. There’s no pressure, no scorecards, and definitely no one keeping track of your seat choices. It’s just an invitation to shake things up, meet someone new, and build the kind of church family where everyone feels seen, known, and loved. Will you join us in the challenge? We'd love to hear from you -- email us the view from your seat or a note letting us know you've accepted the challenge!
Sunday Middle School We are gathering Sunday from 4:30-6:00pm for time in God’s Word and fun in games!
Sunday High School We are gathering from 6:30-8:30pm for time in God’s Word, time in worship and praise of our Savior Jesus and just time hanging out together.
Hoodoo! We are headed up to Hoodoo on the Santiam Pass to Ski and Snowboard. This is a great opportunity for high school students with any experience, NEW (never tried it before) and EXPERIENCED (double black diamond/ terrain park).
We would love to have you join us! The Event Release Form and further details will be available in next week’s youth email.
We “mourn with those who mourn.” Romans 12:15
Thank you all for praying for Paul Bibler and his family. especially these past months. He is in the arms of our Savior now and we are rejoicing he is no longer in pain. Please continue to pray for his family and friends in these coming days. His kindness, joy and big smile are deeply missed. He loved the Lord, and those who remember him recall how he loved to share this love with all he knew. The graveside service for Paul will be at Salt Creek Cemetery at 1:00pm with memorial service to follow at Salt Creek Baptist Church February 8th at 2:00pm.
Noah Torres was an adventurous, joyful member of the Faith Church community. His kindness, humor and genuine spirit are missed by all who met him. There will be a reception following the service. A graveside committal service will follow the reception.
