Brothers & Sisters of Faith Church and Faith Christian School:

Roger & I, in consultation with the Church leadership want to let you know that recent circumstances are requiring us to postpone tomorrow’s planned reporting meeting to next Sunday afternoon, November 15, 2020, and to use a Zoom webinar format for all involved rather than have some of the people attend in person.

As many of you aware, Oregon has been experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths over the past several weeks, reaching the highest level in the past week.  Yesterday Governor Brown asked that all individuals take a two week “pause” where we intentionally limit the gatherings planned in an effort to reduce the spread of the virus.  In addition, one of the participants in the reporting meeting learned today of a potential exposure.  We do not have time to adequately understand the impact of this exposure on this person’s and others ability to participate as planned.  Both Roger & David also have personal and family health considerations which raise our risk to exposure and impact our ability to be present in person.

These considerations have led us to discuss with the Church leadership and determine that it is best to move the reporting meeting format to a Zoom webinar for all participants and people attending, rather than a meeting in person.  We also believe we need to have the reporting meeting as soon as possible.  In order to make some technology adjustments and planning to make sure this format can be coordinated for everyone, it is necessary to delay a week.

The Church office will be communicating with everyone in the next couple of days with the specific time of the meeting on Nov. 15, as well as any additional coordination and registration information.  If you have any logistical concerns about participating in this new format or schedule, please contact the Church office for assistance.
